Johanne Buus Andersen (*1992) was born and raised in the area of Lemvig. She is a versatile musician and plays many genres, from classical to folk music to improvisation. In the past year, she has been on a 5-month contract as a theater composer and accompanying musician, created sound design for a video installation that could be experienced at night on the pedestrian street in Horsens, touring with the performance ensemble Mellem Rum, and this fall she will be performing the installation concert Svanesang in the major cities in Denmark.
In parallel with a career as a performing musician, Johanne has organized and coordinated events since 2014. The most recent major projects are the Aarhus Folk Festival, where, in addition to being a member of the board, she is also responsible for PR and SoMe, in addition she is a project manager and contributing musician in the ensemble Mellem Rum's Northern European Rural Tour which takes place in summer and autumn 2021.
